I continue submitting a parade of skulls, here, and at another image site. I get few comments, and that's ok. I can work in secret, and try and build my skills before I try to seek attention. The work I am continuing is anatomical exercises, learning and reproducing the underlying structures of the human body, with special emphasis on the skull and head for now. This is my best effort to follow the advice I took to heart from Ryan Kingslein, a man who for many years has been well known for producing tutorials for ZBrush. The advice is to know your anatomy, because it is the key to finding your way when you are lost trying to recreate the hu

Well, I've been into art for a really long time. I tried getting as far as I could on my own, I tried going to art school, graduated, worked for an animation company for a while, and thought my career had started. Well that job came to an end, and so I went back to art school to get my bachelor's and graduated again. Nothing has really happened in the last few years. I went to SIGGRAPH in Boston in 06, everyone always seems to tell me that every time its smaller and less impressive than it was last year, or than it is in California, but it still seemed like a wonderland to me. My candy store to wander, a provider of hope. For the most part.

I've moved. My new place is better than my old place. I'm using ZBrush 4r2 now, and enjoying the dynamesh, but it generally takes me longer to understand how to use the new features than it does for them to be developed. I'm working on anatomy of the face now, following Ryan Kingslien's advice. Life goes on.

Can you do 3D animations or do you just model characters in 3D? If you are able to I may have someone who is interested in using your skills. Paying work as well.
Yes, I can animate. I can work in 3DS Max or Maya. I would like to hear about any opportunities you can send my way. Please tell me more about the nature of the work you have in mind.
